It is not often that I read a dog related book that I would love all of my clients to read. Many are too technical or boring or have training advice I cringe at. This book is none of that. It is informative without being preachy, interesting, concise and packed with information that will help you understand why your dog does what they do AND what you can do about it.
And it's NOT a training book! In fact early on Kim dispels the notion of 'training' as THE way to fix problems! Reminding us that our dogs are learning all day every day and it's more about teaching our dog's how to live in our world rather than 'fixing' them with training.
I have the audio version which runs for 7 hours, so not long by most book standards but so full of great knowledge it is well worth the $20!
