Say 'Watch' or 'Look', when dog makes eye contact WAIT 2-3 seconds before you Click, then Treat. As dog makes longer lasting eye contact continue to stretch the duration until you get to 5-10 seconds.
Say word, get behavior , stretch time, then C/T
What if they look away?
