Fall Line Up

Believe it or not Fall will be here before you know it! So, I want to let you all know about our Fall line-up! Most classes are rolling admission, and the cost is $180 per for 6 weeks. My fall hours begin the first week of September.

There will be 2 session of Adventure Class this fall, Monday’s at 9:30am! We practice lots of recalls walking on and off leash, long distance skills, AND we also let the dog’s play. This class is NOT ROLLING ADMISSION - the fall session of Adventure begins the week of September 9th! There will 6 weeks of class. Pre-requisite for Adventure class is Graduate Puppy and at least a 70% recall. Spots are limited so sign up early!teted so sign up now!

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES on 10/3, 10/14, 11/26-29, 12/23-1/3.

Master Puppy Class will be held on Wednesday’s at 9:30 am, until 10/30, so be sure to sign up in time to get 6 classes in! Master Puppy classes are for dogs who have completed Graduate Puppy and are ready to step up their training from working indoors, to real-world conditions. The class is held outdoors, in public and is designed to create fluent behaviors in real world situations. We work on lots of leash walking in and around West Concord, impulse control behaviors (“down” and “leave-it”), recalls, and public greetings. Pre-requisite for Master Puppy classes is at least one round of Graduate Puppy.

Graduate Puppy classes will be held on Tuesday and Wednesdays at 12:30pm as well as Tuesday's at 3:30pm and Thursday’s at 9:30am. If you’ve done Puppy K and are wondering “What’s next?”, this is the class for you. We work on all the skills you learned in Puppy K (plus cues like “Go to Mat” and “Leave it”), but without the walls! The goal of Graduate Puppy is to build fluency with increased distractions (like other dogs!). Prerequisite is Puppy Kindergarten (mine or someone else’s) or private training equivalent.

Wag it Games AND Tricks Class, will be on Thursday’s at 11am. This is a fun class is designed to enhance the communication between you and your dog. During this six week class you and your dog will learn how to navigate bridges, tunnels, jumps, do tricks and more! Your dog can learn shake, rollover, and may even learn to bow! At the end, you and your dog can even have the opportunity to test all those great skills and earn your AKC Novice Tricks Title! Pre-requisite: Puppy K, recommend Graduate Puppy as well.

Canine Good Citizen Class and Therapy Dog Training – These 6 week session classes will be offered back to back on Tuesday’s at 9:30am. CGC class will run from 9/10 to 10/15. Therapy Dog Training will run from 10/22 to 12/3. Pre-requisite: Your dog must be 1 yr old, have attended a Puppy K and Graduate Puppy class, Master Puppy is recommended.

One Note: I have a couple of open class spots in the fall, if there is a class that interests you, and you don’t see it, please let me know. If we can get 3 people interested in the class and agree to a time, I will make it happen!

DID YOU LIKE YOUR PUPPY K CLASS? – LET YOUR FRIENDS KNOW!

Puppy Kindergarten classes will be offered on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s at 11am, and Wednesday’s at 3:30pm in the fall. Due to the overwhelming demand for this class, I have added a Puppy K Oveflow class on Tuesday's at 2pm, this section will allow people to begin Puppy Kindergarten the first week of September, then transfer to the class of their choice when seats become available in that class. Puppies will learn all the essential skills like watch, touch, sit, down, etc. Although the puppies get to play at the end of the classes, we also have our hour-long Puppy Socialization on Thursday’s at 12:30 pm for puppies between 8-18 weeks of age. Here, your puppy will get to have positive interactions with other dogs of the same age, energy levels and play styles! Pre-requisite – puppies must be under 6 months old for Puppy K and under 18 weeks for Socialization class.
